Reliance Jio has reportedly secured a key technical clearance from IN-SPACe (Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre) for its proposal to build a massive Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. If approved through the remaining regulatory stages, the project could become India’s first indigenous non-geostationary satellite broadband network, bringing high-speed internet to even the country’s most remote regions.

A Constellation of Around 1,600 Satellites
