WWE RAW delivered another action-packed edition on August 17 from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, with several major developments shaping the road ahead. The biggest talking point was the return of Roman Reigns, who found himself at the center of the ongoing tension surrounding Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline. The Usos also played a major role in the unfolding story, bringing Solo directly into the picture and setting the stage for what could become another explosive chapter in the family saga.

Morgan and her allies soon answered the challenge, surrounding Vaquer and overwhelming her with a three-on-one attack inside the ring. Just when the situation appeared to be getting out of control, Becky Lynch rushed to Vaquer’s aid, but the rescue quickly turned chaotic when Lynch accidentally struck Vaquer, creating confusion between the two stars.
Morgan capitalized on the moment, dragging Lynch out of the ring before driving her into the steel post. With Lynch temporarily taken out of the equation, Morgan and the rest of Judgment Day turned their attention back to Vaquer, putting her through another brutal beatdown. The numbers game proved too much for Vaquer as the trio eventually stood tall, leaving both Vaquer and Lynch laid out and giving Morgan and Judgment Day a strong statement to close the opening segment.
JD McDonaugh vs Je’Von Evans
Je’Von Evans and JD McDonagh delivered an energetic singles contest, with both Superstars trading offense and keeping the pace high throughout the match. Evans eventually found the opening he needed, connecting with the OG Cutter to put McDonagh away and secure an important victory. However, there was little time for Evans to celebrate as the action continued after the bell, with Big Cass getting involved in a heated brawl with Evans. Rey Fenix vs. El Fiscal
The night’s first match in the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament delivered a fast-paced showcase of lucha libre, with both competitors throwing everything into a high-stakes battle for a spot in the next round. Sol Ruca vs. Lyra Valkyria
The women’s division delivered another exciting singles encounter as Sol Ruca went head-to-head with Lyra Valkyria, who entered the contest looking to make her increasingly darker persona felt. Valkyria brought plenty of intensity and aggression to the match, but Ruca refused to be overwhelmed and found a way to turn the momentum in her favor. The second match of the night in the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament delivered another thrilling showcase of lucha libre, with two highly skilled luchadors putting on a fast-paced and hard-fought encounter. Both competitors exchanged impressive sequences and counters as they battled for the opportunity to move one step closer to a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. In the end, Dragon Lee found the opening he needed, hitting an inverted DDT before following it up with Operation Dragon to secure the victory and advance in the tournament.
Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable
Chad Gable put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against the legendary Rey Mysterio in what quickly became one of the standout matches of the night. The veteran Mysterio brought his trademark speed and high-flying offense, while Gable countered with his technical wrestling and ability to control the pace. Roman Reigns made his highly anticipated return to RAW, but his comeback quickly became about unfinished business with Solo Sikoa. The Usos brought Sikoa directly to the OTC, seemingly giving Reigns the opportunity to address the fractured Bloodline situation. – Following a brief confrontation involving The Usos and Jacob Fatu, The Vision appeared in a backstage interview and delivered a blunt warning to the rest of the WWE roster, making it clear that anyone bold enough to challenge them would be dealt with decisively. Meanwhile, Maxxine Dupri continued to stir the pot with some particularly harsh remarks aimed at Otis and Akira Tozawa, adding even more tension to the ongoing situation and setting the stage for potential confrontations down the line.
– Oba Femi turned the tension up a notch by hilariously mimicking Bron Breakker while mocking the idea that Breakker, rather than himself, is the true future of WWE.
