WWE RAW Results and Highlights (19/10/26): Roman confronts Sami, Incredible Intercontinental Match, Massive brawl between 946 and Bloodline and more
The October 19 edition of WWE RAW kicked off in San Diego with tensions already building ahead of Crown Jewel. After opening with a glimpse of the city and the arena, the broadcast showed Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn arriving at the venue at nearly the same time. Reigns appeared surprised by Zayn’s unexpected presence, hinting that the two had unfinished business to address. As the show transitioned inside the arena, Zayn made his entrance, setting the stage for a night filled with confrontation, competition, and major developments on the road to Crown Jewel.

The episode delivered several noteworthy moments, including a heated confrontation between Reigns and Zayn over the WWE Championship and Penta’s victory over Bron Breakker following outside interference. Chelsea Green and IYO SKY teamed up to secure a tag team win, while JD McDonagh added another victory to his record. Meanwhile, Lyra Valkyria found herself facing a fresh challenge, adding another storyline to the evolving RAW landscape. With championship tensions rising and rivalries intensifying, the show continued to build anticipation for Crown Jewel.
Roman Reigns confronts Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn received a tremendous reception from the San Diego crowd as he kicked off his segment on RAW, but his moment was interrupted when Roman Reigns’ music hit. In a surprising turn, Reigns greeted Zayn warmly, and the two shared a hug before discussing the pressures that come with being WWE Champion. Zayn acknowledged that Reigns had been right about the weight of carrying the championship, allowing the two to briefly connect over their shared experiences at the top of WWE. However, the friendly atmosphere soon shifted when Reigns brought up an opportunity for Zayn and referenced the number 946. With Zayn reminding him that he had his own problems to handle on SmackDown, Reigns attempted to assert the superiority of his championship, prompting Zayn to remind The OTC that things were once very different.
The conversation took a more personal turn when Zayn accused Reigns of disrespecting their upcoming Crown Jewel match by acting as though it was an afterthought. Reigns fired back by suggesting that Zayn might not even be WWE Champion by the time the event arrives, delivering a pointed remark before leaving the ring. As Reigns made his exit, Penta headed out for his scheduled showdown with Bron Breakker, immediately raising questions about whether he would seize the moment to cash in his title opportunity. With Reigns and Zayn’s championship rivalry becoming increasingly tense, the confrontation added another layer of intrigue to RAW as Crown Jewel drew closer.
Penta vs Bron Breakker
Penta wasted no time bringing the fight to Bron Breakker on WWE RAW, but the powerhouse quickly reminded his opponent why he is such a dangerous competitor. Breakker responded with a German suplex and a devastating running clothesline before slowing the match down with a series of power moves. Penta eventually found an opening, catching Bron with a backstabber in the corner before following up with a springboard clothesline. The action continued outside the ring, where Breakker slammed Penta onto the announce table. After the commercial break, Penta returned with a spectacular top-rope crossbody for a near fall and gradually built momentum with a flurry of fast-paced offense. However, Breakker remained a serious threat, nearly putting the match away with a top-rope Frankensteiner after Penta failed to secure the victory with a pendulum dropkick.
The closing moments descended into chaos when Maxxine Dupri and Austin Theory appeared at ringside to distract Penta just as he was preparing to finish the match. Penta attempted to deal with the interference, but Breakker capitalized with a devastating Spear that nearly secured the three-count. The numbers game threatened to cost Penta the victory until Je’Von Evans stepped in and prevented Theory from handing Breakker the Money in the Bank briefcase. Evans then used the briefcase against Breakker, creating the opening Penta needed to connect with the Mexican Destroyer and score the pinfall victory. With outside interference ultimately deciding the contest, Penta walked away with an important win, while the involvement of Evans, Theory, and Dupri added another twist to the developing RAW storylines.
Chelsea Green & Iyo Sky vs Raquel Rodriguez & Roxxane Perez
Chelsea Green made the trip from SmackDown to join forces with IYO SKY on RAW, as the unlikely pairing faced Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in tag team action. Before the match got underway, Roman Reigns was shown leaving the arena in his SUV following his earlier confrontation with Sami Zayn. Inside the ring, Perez and SKY opened the contest with a technical exchange, with Roxanne attempting to outwrestle the former Women’s Champion. However, SKY quickly turned the momentum in her favour after Perez slapped her, responding with a sharp dropkick. Green entered the action and teamed up with SKY for a brief double-team sequence before turning her attention towards Liv Morgan at ringside, blowing her a kiss to provoke the Women’s World Champion. The celebration didn’t last long, as Green’s decision to slap Rodriguez backfired spectacularly when the powerhouse flattened her with a clothesline. SKY eventually took over and landed a missile dropkick, but her extended taunt gave Rodriguez enough time to recover and launch her into the barricade before sending the match into a commercial break.
The challengers maintained control after the break, but SKY refused to stay down, countering Perez’s moonsault with her knees and creating an opening to fight back against Rodriguez. A jawbreaker and a well-placed kick to Raquel’s head gave SKY a chance to tag Green, only for Perez to pull Chelsea off the apron at the last possible moment. SKY eventually fought her way free, allowing both Perez and Green to make the tag simultaneously. Green initially gained the advantage with a series of arm drags and kicks, but Liv Morgan interfered by tripping her on the top rope while the referee was distracted. With the match spiralling out of control, SKY avoided Rodriguez’s superplex attempt and launched herself onto Morgan and Perez with a spectacular diving crossbody to the floor. The opening proved decisive, as SKY returned to the ring, connected with a hurricanrana on Rodriguez, and secured the three-count for her team. Despite the interference and repeated momentum swings, Chelsea Green and IYO SKY emerged victorious, giving RAW another entertaining tag team contest with tensions continuing to simmer around Liv Morgan and her allies.
JD McDonaugh vs Joe Hendry
JD McDonagh stepped into action on WWE RAW with Dominik Mysterio in his corner, taking on Joe Hendry, who was accompanied by the mysterious giant Funko Pop character carrying a miniature guitar. The chaos began before the opening bell, as McDonagh attacked Hendry while he was posing on the apron and then chased the oversized mascot around ringside. Once the match officially got underway, the Funko character briefly took Dominik out of the equation, allowing Hendry to send McDonagh over the top rope before diving onto both men as RAW headed into a commercial break. Hendry struggled to gain control for much of the contest but found his rhythm after returning, connecting with a fallaway slam and a DDT that nearly secured the victory. He also took out Dirty Dom with a sliding dropkick at ringside, although the distraction gave McDonagh enough time to recover. The action took another bizarre turn when Hendry reached for his guitar, only for McDonagh to seize it and use it to strike the Funko mascot. Back inside the ring, Hendry landed a massive clothesline for another near fall, but McDonagh answered with a running headbutt and, with a crucial assist from Dominik, secured the pinfall victory.
Lola Vice vs Lyra Valkyria
Lyra Valkyria found herself in an unexpected showdown with Lola Vice on WWE RAW after her attempt to catch up with Bayley backstage went wrong, resulting in an accidental encounter with Vice and setting the stage for their match. Lola wasted little time taking control, nearly trapping Lyra in an armbar before Valkyria countered into a pin attempt and followed up with a reverse crab and a pendulum submission. Vice responded with a barrage of strikes, but Lyra managed to turn the tide with a vicious neckbreaker that sent her opponent crashing outside the ring. Following the commercial break, Lola returned to the attack with a series of punishing kicks and a Saito suplex for a near fall. Valkyria fought back with a fisherwoman’s suplex after escaping another armbar, only for Vice to catch her mid-air with a spinning kick. The two traded several close pin attempts before Lola locked in a rear-naked choke, forcing Lyra to scramble towards the ropes and eventually knock her opponent to the floor with a dropkick through the ropes. However, Bayley suddenly emerged from underneath the ring and grabbed Valkyria’s foot while the referee was distracted, then disappeared before Lyra could get the official to notice. With Valkyria momentarily thrown off, Vice capitalised by connecting with a senton and her signature back fist to secure the victory. Furious at Bayley’s repeated interference, Lyra immediately went after her following the bell, screaming at her to stay out of her life as their personal rivalry continued to escalate.
Chad Gable vs Rey Mysterio vs Dragon Lee
The Intercontinental Championship was up for grabs on WWE RAW as Chad Gable put his title on the line against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in a highly anticipated Triple Threat Match. With Gable having already delivered impressive performances against both challengers during his championship reign, expectations were high for another standout contest. Mysterio and Lee initially joined forces to send the champion out of the ring before turning their attention towards each other, but Gable soon returned to the action and caught both masked competitors with a double German suplex. The match quickly developed into a thrilling back-and-forth battle, featuring rapid counters, submission attempts and spectacular aerial offence. Gable trapped Mysterio in the Ankle Lock before switching his attention to Lee, while Rey later sent the champion outside and found himself battling Dragon Lee near the announce table. Lee attempted to launch his signature dive, but Gable intercepted him with a suplex. The action spilled around ringside before Mysterio took flight with a massive top-rope senton, leaving both opponents struggling to regain control.
The intensity increased after the second commercial break, with Dragon Lee connecting with a double stomp on Mysterio near the turnbuckle before Gable answered with a devastating suplex. Rey positioned Gable for the 619, but Lee escaped the incoming attack, allowing the champion to transition into another Ankle Lock. Lee kicked Gable out of the ring and subsequently caught Mysterio with a Styles Clash for a near fall, sending the crowd into a frenzy. A powerbomb from Lee nearly sealed the deal, but Rey broke up the pin just in time to keep his championship hopes alive. Mysterio then connected with the 619 on Dragon Lee, only for Gable to interrupt the count at the last possible moment. After a frantic sequence of reversals, Gable capitalised on the chaos to pin Mysterio and retain the Intercontinental Championship in an entertaining three-way encounter. The celebrations were short-lived, however, as Ethan Page launched a post-match assault on Gable and Rey, while Big Cass targeted Dragon Lee and prevented anyone from intervening. Page continued to punish the champion as Cass kept the others at bay, ending the segment with a shocking attack that left the Intercontinental Championship picture looking more unpredictable than ever.
The Bloodline vs 946
The October 19 edition of WWE RAW headed towards a chaotic conclusion as The Usos entered the arena armed with weapons, making it clear that they were ready to confront 946. Returning from the commercial break, Jimmy and Jey addressed their ongoing war with Royce Keys and his crew, daring the group to step into the ring and settle their differences face-to-face. 946 soon answered the challenge, with all five members making their way through the crowd before surrounding the ring. Keys climbed onto the announce table and mocked The Usos for having more courage than common sense, pointing out that they were heavily outnumbered. However, the numbers game changed when Solo Sikoa suddenly appeared and blindsided Keys, throwing Carmelo Hayes into him while The Usos clashed with OTM inside the ring. Sikoa looked ready to deliver the Samoan Spike to Keys, but Hayes struck him with a crowbar, allowing 946 to seize control and turn the confrontation into a full-scale fight.
Just when 946 appeared to have the advantage, Roman Reigns’ music suddenly hit, revealing that The OTC had returned after seemingly leaving the arena earlier in the night. Reigns made his way towards the ring as the members of 946 assembled to meet him, setting up a tense face-off between the two sides. With Solo Sikoa and The Usos standing alongside their leader, the atmosphere quickly became explosive. Reigns eventually threw the first punch, triggering a massive brawl that spilled across the ring as both factions fought for control. The Bloodline ultimately gained the upper hand, forcing Keys and the rest of 946 to retreat through the crowd. RAW ended with Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and The Usos standing tall in the ring, sending a clear message to their rivals and leaving the escalating conflict between the two groups as one of the show’s biggest talking points heading towards Crown Jewel.
