WWE RAW Results and Highlights (26/10/26): Bayley steals the Spotlight; Becky Lynch falls short and Tiffany Stratton nearly cashes in

WWE brought Monday Night RAW to the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, on October 26, delivering an eventful night filled with unexpected developments and high-stakes action. The show was initially scheduled to feature a No. 1 Contender’s Match, with the winner earning an opportunity to challenge for championship gold. However, plans took an unexpected turn as WWE replaced the anticipated contest with a title match that quickly descended into chaos, leaving fans with plenty to discuss.

Beyond the championship drama, WWE also gave fans a major reason to look forward to next week’s episode by officially announcing the return of John Cena to Monday Night RAW. The upcoming show is set to feature several exciting matches and segments, adding further intrigue to the ongoing storylines. With Cena’s appearance confirmed and tensions continuing to rise across the roster, anticipation is already building for what WWE has planned for the next edition of RAW.

Sami Zayn vs Je’Von Evans

The opening segment of WWE RAW took an unexpected turn when Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn confronted General Manager Adam Pearce for leaving him off the night’s match card, despite bringing him to Fresno for promotional photos. Zayn dismissed Pearce before turning his attention to the WWE Universe, accusing fans of needing everything explained to them and pointing to the popularity of Trick Williams and CM Punk as examples. He also took credit for elevating WWE’s business, claiming his involvement with The Bloodline helped take the company to another level and contributed to its lucrative Netflix deal. While praising his own contributions, Zayn compared his ability to put everything together to legendary names such as Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, and Kurt Angle. His heated promo was interrupted by Penta and Je’Von Evans, with Evans stepping up and challenging the champion to repeat his comments face-to-face. After a tense exchange, Pearce made the match official, booking an impromptu Undisputed WWE Championship clash between Zayn and Evans. The Young OG delivered an impressive performance and came agonisingly close to capturing his first world championship, but an altercation between Bron Breakker and Penta at ringside provided the distraction Zayn needed to connect with the Helluva Kick and retain his title. The chaos continued after the bell as Breakker and Bronson Reed launched a brutal assault on Penta and Evans, leaving the arena in complete disarray.

The championship match took another dramatic turn midway through the contest when Penta made his way to ringside and appeared to tease a potential Money in the Bank cash-in. However, before he could make his intentions clear, Bron Breakker launched a surprise attack, creating the distraction Sami Zayn needed to regain control of the match. The champion capitalised on the opportunity by connecting with a devastating Helluva Kick to Je’Von Evans before securing the three-count and successfully retaining the Undisputed WWE Championship. The action didn’t end with the final bell, as The Vision continued their assault on the fallen competitors. Breakker and Bronson Reed brutally dismantled both Penta and Evans, with Breakker delivering a Spear to each Superstar before Reed followed up with his devastating Tsunami. The segment concluded with all the babyfaces left laid out in the ring, as The Vision made a dominant statement and further intensified the ongoing tensions.

Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria (No Disqualification Match)

After months of bitter animosity, personal attacks, and physical torment, Bayley finally got her hands on Lyra Valkyria and settled their differences in brutal fashion, picking up a hard-fought victory in a No Disqualification Match on Monday. Both women wasted no time taking advantage of the stipulation, turning the contest into an all-out war involving kendo sticks, steel chairs, tables, and plenty of punishment. Bayley was particularly ruthless, using a belt and kendo stick to inflict damage before narrowly avoiding Valkyria’s moonsault, which sent the latter crashing ribs-first into a steel chair. However, The Role Model also endured her share of punishment, including a painful missed elbow drop that saw her land directly on a steel chair. Despite the damage, Bayley refused to back down, displaying the resilience that has defined her career.

As the action reached its closing stages, Bayley caught Valkyria in mid-air and planted her with a powerbomb onto a trash can before following up with an elbow drop from the ropes, sending her opponent crashing through a table at ringside. Back inside the ring, Bayley locked in a vicious crossface, using a kendo stick across Valkyria’s mouth to intensify the pressure and eventually force her to submit. It was a fitting and emphatic conclusion to a deeply personal rivalry, with both competitors delivering an incredibly physical performance that had the crowd invested throughout. The finish was particularly satisfying, giving Bayley a much-needed statement victory and a potential momentum boost heading into whatever comes next. An absolutely outstanding No DQ encounter that delivered on the intensity and brutality expected from this rivalry.

Iyo Sky vs Raquel Rodriguez

Iyo Sky took another important step towards a potential Women’s Intercontinental Championship opportunity on Monday night, defeating Raquel Rodriguez in an exciting non-title singles contest. Despite facing a significant disadvantage in size and strength, The Genius of the Sky showcased her incredible speed, agility, and ring awareness to keep Rodriguez on the defensive throughout the match. The closing moments saw Rodriguez attempt to put the contest away with the Tejana Bomb, but SKY cleverly countered the power move into a surprise small package to secure the three-count. However, her celebration was short-lived, as Roxanne Perez suddenly launched a post-match assault on SKY before joining forces with Rodriguez to deliver a two-on-one beatdown. The Judgment Day ultimately stood tall, leaving SKY in a difficult position despite picking up an important victory in the ring.

Big Cass & Ethan Page vs Dragon Lee vs Chad Gable

Big Cass and “All Ego” Ethan Page scored an impressive tag team victory on Monday night’s Raw, showcasing surprisingly effective chemistry against their opponents in a hard-hitting contest. The closing stretch saw Page take Gable out of the equation with a devastating Ego Plex on the arena floor, leaving officials to check on the injured competitor. Despite being left to fend for himself, Lee refused to back down and fought valiantly against the numbers disadvantage, attempting to keep his team in the contest. However, Cass eventually brought his resistance to an end with a massive big boot before Page delivered another devastating Ego Plex to secure the pinfall victory. The combination of Cass’s imposing power and Page’s opportunistic offence proved too much to handle, giving the duo a statement win and potentially establishing them as a team to watch moving forward.

Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan (Women’s World Heavyweight Championship)

The Women’s World Championship took centre stage in a chaotic main event on Monday’s Raw, as Becky Lynch challenged Liv Morgan for the title after an unexpected change to the original match card. Lynch was initially scheduled to face Stephanie Vaquer in a No. 1 Contender’s Match, but Adam Pearce announced at the beginning of the show that Vaquer had not been medically cleared to compete, resulting in the contest being replaced by a championship showdown between Lynch and Morgan. Both women delivered a fantastic performance, displaying excellent in-ring chemistry while keeping the audience invested throughout the hard-fought encounter. The closing moments saw Lynch take out the interfering Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez before countering Morgan’s Oblivion attempt into a devastating Manhandle Slam. However, just as the referee was about to complete the three-count, the Judgment Day members stormed the ring and broke up the pinfall, handing Lynch a disqualification victory without changing the championship.

The post-match chaos quickly escalated as Morgan and her allies launched a three-on-one assault on Lynch. Chelsea Green eventually rushed to the ring to even the odds, with IYO SKY also joining the fight, but the numbers advantage allowed the heels to regain control. With Morgan seemingly incapacitated in the middle of the ring, Tiffany Stratton suddenly appeared and delivered the Prettiest Moonsault Ever before eyeing the Women’s World Championship and teasing a Money in the Bank cash-in. However, before Stratton could make her intentions official, Dominik Mysterio pulled Morgan out of harm’s way, allowing The Judgment Day to retreat with the championship intact. It was a thrilling conclusion to an excellent main event, but the unanswered questions surrounding Stratton’s cash-in tease and the growing tensions among the women left plenty of intrigue heading into the next episode.

Other Notable Moments from The Show

– Solo Sikoa appeared in a pre-taped backstage promo alongside The Bloodline, with Roman Reigns and the rest of the group standing behind him, as he officially accepted Royce Keys’ challenge for a match. Sikoa delivered the segment with his trademark confidence and personality, bringing the kind of charisma that has increasingly connected with WWE audiences. However, much of the attention was also on Jey Uso, who stood in the background visibly struggling to keep his composure while Solo addressed the situation. His reaction added an entertaining layer to the segment, creating an amusing contrast between Sikoa’s serious announcement and Jey’s apparent difficulty keeping a straight face.

– John Cena is set to make his highly anticipated return to WWE television next week, and fans could finally get some major answers about the mysterious John Cena Classic. The 17-time World Champion announced that he will appear on the November 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, which will feature a special early start time of 6 PM ET, promising that the long-standing speculation surrounding the tournament will come to an end. First revealed at WWE Backlash in May, the John Cena Classic is scheduled to take place in December and is expected to feature a mix of established WWE Superstars and rising talent, with an interesting fan-voting component that could allow viewers to select a tournament winner regardless of the actual match results. Cena has also indicated that the competition will largely operate outside WWE’s existing storylines, making it a unique concept within the company. Adding to the anticipation, Cena is scheduled to appear on the November 4 episode of NXT, where he could potentially introduce the competitors or reveal details about the qualification process. With the tournament finally moving closer to becoming a reality, Cena’s upcoming appearances could provide the first significant look at what WWE has planned for this intriguing new concept.
