WWE RAW Results and Highlights (21/9/26): Solo Sikoa gets abducted by 946, Money In The Bank Qualifiers Continue and more
The September 21 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW rolled into San Antonio, Texas, delivering a night packed with major developments, unexpected twists and important steps toward WWE’s next Premium Live Event. The biggest shock of the evening came when Solo Sikoa was suddenly abducted by enemies he never saw coming, leaving questions about who was behind the attack and what it could mean for his future. The episode also saw Stephanie Vaquer put herself in a dangerous position by offering to defend her Women’s Championship against both Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, setting the stage for a potentially explosive title confrontation.

With the road to the next Premium Live Event continuing to take shape, RAW also featured two additional Money in the Bank qualifying matches, giving more Superstars the opportunity to punch their ticket to one of WWE’s most unpredictable ladder matches. Between the shocking attack on Sikoa, Vaquer’s bold championship challenge and the growing Money in the Bank field, the San Antonio crowd witnessed an episode that continued to push several major storylines forward while adding plenty of questions for the weeks ahead.
Opening Segment
Penta kicked off Monday Night RAW by addressing his hard-fought World Championship clash with Roman Reigns from the previous week. Rather than accepting the result, Penta made it clear that he believes his business with Reigns is far from finished and openly called for another shot at the title. His message was quickly interrupted by Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh, who mocked Penta and attempted to get under his skin. The confrontation soon turned physical, with Penta refusing to back down and taking the fight directly to both members of The Judgment Day before sending them retreating. The fiery opening established Penta’s determination to stay in the World Championship picture while simultaneously putting him on a collision course with Judgment Day.
Roxanne Perez vs. La Catalina vs. IYO Sky
Roxanne Perez punched her ticket to the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match after surviving a thrilling Triple Threat qualifier against IYO SKY and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina. All three women kept the action moving at a relentless pace, with momentum constantly shifting throughout the contest. The decisive sequence came when SKY attempted her spectacular Over the Moonsault, only for Perez to escape at the perfect moment, leaving La Catalina to absorb the full impact. The Prodigy immediately recognized the opportunity, catching SKY with Pop Rox and securing the three-count for a significant victory. Considering the caliber of her opponents, Perez’s win felt like a major statement and gives her the chance to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase and the guaranteed championship opportunity that comes with it.
The match was equally significant for La Catalina, who was thrown straight into the deep end for her RAW debut by sharing the ring with two established performers in SKY and Perez. Her involvement also added another layer to her developing rivalry with The Prodigy ahead of their Reina de Reinas Championship encounter at Worlds Collide, giving audiences an early glimpse of what they could produce against one another. Meanwhile, Perez continues to rebuild her momentum after often finding herself behind other prominent names within Judgment Day’s women’s division. Between earning a championship opportunity against Catalina and now qualifying for Money in the Bank, The Prodigy suddenly finds herself with multiple paths toward championship gold—and her recent run suggests she intends to capitalize on every one of them.
Je’Von Evans vs. Bron Breakker
Je’Von Evans went toe-to-toe with the powerhouse Bron Breakker in a hard-hitting singles match that showcased just how quickly Evans continues to make a name for himself. Despite Breakker’s overwhelming physicality, Evans refused to be intimidated and came dangerously close to pulling off the upset when he set up for the OG Cutter. Before he could complete the move, however, Austin Theory interfered by tripping Evans on the ropes, forcing the referee to call for a disqualification. The situation quickly became worse for Evans as Breakker and The Visionary?—joined by Theory—continued the assault after the bell. Just when the numbers game appeared too much to overcome, Oba Femi stormed onto the scene, evening the odds and coming to Evans’ rescue.
Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
Bayley entered Monday Night RAW with a completely different energy, carrying months of frustration into her rematch with Lyra Valkyria. Gone was the usual playful confidence of The Role Model; instead, she attacked Valkyria with a level of aggression that immediately made it clear how personal this rivalry had become. The former tag team partners delivered another physical encounter following their previous meeting at SNME, with Valkyria eventually taking advantage of Bayley’s injured knee to turn the tide. The inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion controlled the match for stretches, but Bayley found an opening when Valkyria missed a moonsault. From there, Bayley unleashed her fury, even attempting to put Valkyria through the announce table before her opponent escaped. Bayley continued hunting Valkyria around the ring and appeared determined to finish the fight on her terms.
The decisive moment came when the referee tried to separate Bayley from Valkyria, inadvertently creating the opening the younger star needed. Valkyria sent Bayley toward the ropes and caught her with a roll-up while using the tights for leverage, stealing another victory in controversial fashion. The finish protected Bayley from taking a straightforward loss while keeping Valkyria’s momentum intact, but it also leaves the question of where this feud goes next. Both women have shown they can deliver when given the spotlight, and Bayley’s unusually serious presentation added an interesting layer to the rivalry. If WWE chooses to continue their story, a more definitive stipulation could give their next encounter the sense of finality this increasingly bitter feud now seems to be asking for.
Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee
The closing stretch of Monday Night RAW took an unbelievable turn when Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price were shown dragging a battered Solo Sikoa backstage before throwing him into a waiting vehicle and speeding away. With Sikoa suddenly unable to compete in his scheduled Money in the Bank qualifier, Adam Pearce was forced to make a last-minute change, selecting Penta as his replacement. The former World Championship No. 1 contender wasted no time making the opportunity count, stepping into a high-energy Triple Threat against Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee. All three competitors delivered a frantic, hard-hitting contest filled with near-falls, but the final sequence belonged to Penta. After Lee was taken out following a Mexican Destroyer on the apron, Dominik connected with a 619 and Frog Splash, only for Penta to survive the pinfall. Penta then avoided another 619, sent Dominik into the exposed turnbuckle and followed up with a devastating Mexican Destroyer to secure his place in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Ending the show with Penta after opening RAW with his desire for another World Championship opportunity gave the episode a satisfying sense of continuity. Dragon Lee once again demonstrated why his recent run has generated so much momentum, bringing his speed and explosiveness into a match where he never looked out of place alongside two established names. Dominik also delivered one of his more impressive performances in recent memory, benefiting from being able to wrestle at a faster pace alongside two elite luchadores rather than relying solely on his usual heel tactics. For Penta, however, the night could prove to be a major turning point: what began as an unexpected replacement opportunity ended with him earning a guaranteed championship opportunity through the Money in the Bank ladder match.
Other Notable Moments from the Show
– Following Adam Pearce’s official announcement that LA Knight will challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank, The Megastar stepped into the ring with a noticeably sharper and more determined edge. Knight acknowledged Reigns’ status and recent success, but pointed out one key detail from their history: The OTC has never defeated him in a one-on-one match without outside interference deciding the outcome. Rather than simply trading insults, Knight used that history to build a compelling case for himself, insisting that he will walk into New Orleans and leave with the World Heavyweight Championship. It was one of Knight’s most focused WWE promos to date, balancing respect for his opponent with the confidence that has made him such a popular figure. By giving Reigns credit while simultaneously challenging him to prove he can beat Knight on his own, The Megastar added genuine weight to their upcoming championship showdown and delivered exactly the kind of confident, purposeful promo that makes this version of LA Knight worth watching.
– JD McDonagh opened the segment by taking offense to Joe Hendry’s “Funk Pop” jab, insisting that the jokes had gone too far and were now affecting his family back home in Ireland. The conversation soon shifted when Liv Morgan revisited her controversial defeat to Stephanie Vaquer in Chile, once again referring to the result as the “Santiago Screwjob.” That brought Becky Lynch into the spotlight from the stands, with The Man dismissing McDonagh’s complaints before turning her attention toward Morgan and staking her claim to a Women’s World Championship opportunity. Vaquer then joined the confrontation and made it clear that she believes she can defeat Morgan without needing Lynch’s help, while also boldly accepting the possibility of defending her championship against The Man. With Vaquer raising the title above her head to close the segment, WWE effectively put all three women on a collision course. The confrontation also added another layer of tension between Lynch and Vaquer, even though both currently have Morgan in their sights, making a potential Lynch vs. Morgan vs. Vaquer championship showdown feel like a natural next chapter with enough star power to headline a major WWE event.
– Adam Pearce made a major announcement by introducing Lola Vice as the newest addition to the RAW roster, while also confirming her place in the upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However, Vice barely had an opportunity to address the WWE Universe before Roxanne Perez interrupted, immediately reigniting the tension between the two former NXT rivals. What followed was a tense verbal exchange that quickly became physical, with Vice ultimately standing tall and making an immediate statement on her arrival to the main roster. The segment served as an effective introduction to Vice while simultaneously establishing Perez as her first major obstacle on RAW. With tensions also growing around Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch, this rivalry could eventually expand into a larger battle involving The Judgment Day, giving Vice an opportunity to establish herself alongside two of RAW’s biggest names while continuing her unfinished business with Perez.
